Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is an adventure game developed by Funcom Oslo and published by Aspyr Media. Released in 2006, it follows three characters across two parallel worlds: the technologically advanced Stark and the magical Arcadia.

Story

Zoë Castillo investigates her ex-boyfriend’s disappearance and a series of mysterious events, leading her to April Ryan. In Arcadia, April confronts the Empire of Azadi while Kian Alvane, an elite Azadi soldier, is ordered to assassinate her.

The game is set ten years after The Longest Journey and includes returning characters such as Brian Westhouse and Gordon Halloway. Prior knowledge of the earlier game is not required to understand the story.
