A gritty futuristic point-and-click adventure with a carefully limited inventory
The briefing
DreamWeb is a top-down adventure game set in a gritty, futuristic dystopian city. Developed by Creative Reality, it focuses on exploring compact locations and interacting with people and objects through simple point-and-click controls.
Most locations occupy only a small portion of the screen and do not pan. An optional zoom window in the corner follows the cursor, providing a closer view. The player also has limited inventory space, making it important to judge which of the many collectible objects may be useful and which are merely filler.
DreamWeb was released in 1993 for Amiga, Commodore Amiga, and DOS, and is also listed for ScummVM.
