About this game

Driver '76 is the fifth entry in the Driver series and a prequel to Driver: Parallel Lines, set two years before its events. Players control Ray, who takes on dangerous jobs to impress the daughter of a Triad boss while provoking rival gangs.

The story unfolds across six comic-book-style chapters and 27 missions in New York, spanning areas from New Jersey to Coney Island. Missions include timed runs, escort operations, and evasion challenges. Ray can also travel on foot and use firearms with locked targeting.

More than 40 customizable vehicles are available, including dirt bikes, sports cars, big rigs, and special vehicles such as the Ecto-1. Each vehicle has distinct handling, while garage upgrades provide additional customization. Optional side jobs include racing, tow-truck work, taxi driving, and ambulance services.

Multiplayer supports up to two players over Wi-Fi in Street Racing, Carnage, Circuit Racing, Pink Slip Racing, and Swap Meet modes. Players can also exchange items or download new paint jobs.
