About this game

Dropzone is an arcade shooter inspired by Defender, combining rapid scrolling with frantic aerial combat. The player pilots a jet-pack-equipped spaceman across a barren landscape inhabited by several alien types, including the simple Planter, the advancing Blunder Storm, and the fast, aggressive Nemesite.

Aliens may abduct the small men walking across the surface. Rescue them by shooting down their captors without hitting the humans, while avoiding androids that resemble the men but are deadly. Recovered survivors must be carried to a surface base, completing the game’s central objective: the Dropzone.
