Dual Core

Dual Core is a vibrant futuristic shooter set in 2147. After a human colony on Europa suffers a mysterious calamity, two super-intelligent AI cores awaken inside outdated security drones and begin investigating what happened while fighting to survive.

Drawing on retro arcade influences, the game combines robots, lasers, aliens, explosions, colorful visuals, and RPG elements. In Story mode, players explore the colony’s labyrinthine environments. Arcade mode offers arena-style battles against endless waves, while Versus mode supports battles against up to three friends.

Up to four players can fight together, with AI-controlled robo-buddies available alongside them. Dual Core was released on May 26, 2016, for Nintendo Wii U and PC (Microsoft Windows).
