Dune: The Battle for Arrakis

Dune: The Battle for Arrakis is a real-time strategy game developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive for the Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

Players command the troops of one of three noble Houses on Arrakis, also known as Dune, in a series of battles centered on mining Spice Melange. Victory requires constructing a base, building units, and attacking enemy forces.

The game features new graphics, streamlined controls, changes to the tech tree, and new levels. Its context-sensitive cursor system replaces the original menu-based controls, allowing units to move or attack based on what is beneath the cursor.
