About this game

Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts is a revamped version of the TurboGrafx-16 game. Players travel to the sealed-off kingdom of Westoria to uncover the fate of its people and close the Great Labyrinth, the source of the world’s monsters.

Character Creation

Players can create characters from three races—the human-like Izark, elf-like Ist, and reptilian Olff—and choose from six classes: fighter, hunter, monk, thief, shaman, and bishop. Gender, attributes, color, and other options allow for more than 70 character variations.

Gameplay

Adventure centers on exploring dungeons, battling monsters, collecting power-ups, and casting spells. In town, players can purchase weapons, items, and armor, with equipment combinations offering more than 300 variations.

Arts System

  • Weapon Arts: Abilities that grow stronger through repeated use of a weapon type.
  • Job Arts: Class-based abilities that improve with use, with additional Arts unlocked by leveling up the job class.
  • Big Bang Arts: Attacks created by combining the powers of multiple party members.

The game also supports Ad-Hoc multiplayer, allowing three human players to team up.
