About this game

Dynamite Dan is a flick-screen platform game developed by Rod Bowkett and published by Mirrorsoft. Released in 1984, it follows secret agent Dynamite Dan on a mission to stop the evil Dr Blitzen and his assistant Donna.

Gameplay

After landing a Zeppelin on the doctor’s house, Dan must explore the building and find eight sticks of dynamite left behind by a previous agent. The dynamite is needed to blow up the doctor’s vault and recover plans for a Mega-Ray.

  • Navigate a house filled with enemies and obstacles.
  • Find food to replenish an energy bar that steadily decreases.
  • Collect objects scattered throughout the house for points.
  • Use a joystick or keyboard to control Dan.
  • Track energy, score, and remaining lives during play.
