Dynasty Warriors 6

Dynasty Warriors 6 brings Koei’s action-oriented interpretation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms to PlayStation 2. Players select from a roster of heroes and warriors before taking on historically inspired battles filled with hundreds of combatants.

Combat and Features

Defeat enemy forces with swords, hammers, polearms, and other weapons while building lengthy combo chains. The Renbu system grants temporary combat bonuses for dexterous play, and skill choices let players customize their characters. Heroes can also swim across water and scale walls to launch surprise attacks.

The PS2 edition includes ten new scenarios, five additional stages, and new weapons. Bodyguards are omitted, but each character can call on a faithful steed for rapid retreats or powerful charges. Horses level up alongside their riders, improving attributes such as speed and combat power.

Game Modes

• Musou Mode: A character-specific campaign.
• Challenge Mode: Complete specific objectives.
• Free Mode: Build character statistics on unlocked battlefields.

Two players can also team up through split-screen play.
