El Cid

Cid, El is an isometric action-adventure starring El Cid Campeador, the Castilian warrior known as Rodrigo. Set in a fictional version of the 11th century, the game follows his quest to recover a legendary parchment before evil forces can use it to unleash disasters and give Satan dominion over Earth.

To protect the forces of good, El Cid must first find the magical key that can release the spell concealing the document. Rival knights also seek the parchment, pursuing glory or darker motives, so El Cid must rely on his battle-hardened swordsmanship to overcome them.
