A two-player or computer-controlled electronic table soccer game
The briefing
Electronic Table Soccer recreates a full-size tournament soccer table on screen for play against another person or the computer. The left and right hand controls each manage a goalkeeper and the other players on their respective sides.
Each joystick controls three player rows. Players can direct the goalkeeper, the central group, or the outer group, while the action button and joystick movement are used to kick the ball. Uncontrolled rows cause the ball to rebound when struck.
The ball enters from the bottom of the screen, and goals are recorded on a scoring rack. A match ends when one team reaches ten points. If a hand control is inactive, the computer takes over that side; with neither control activated, the computer plays both teams.
