About this game

Elevator Action Returns is Taito’s sequel to the 1983 game. Players choose from Kart Bradfield, Edie Burrett, or Jad the Taff, each with different strengths, weaknesses, and weapon loadouts.

The mission is to recover computer data hidden behind red doors across six buildings. Blue doors trigger a roulette-style item wheel that can award points, health, machine guns, or rocket launchers. Elevators provide access between floors, while destructible objects such as barrels and drums can help against enemies including lackeys, zombie soldiers, karate agents, trench-coat goons, and guard dogs.

Cameras can be destroyed, but being spotted triggers a brief siren. Each building has a time limit; when time expires, the building explodes and the player loses a life.
