About this game

E.O.E: Eve of Extinction is a 3D action beat ’em up developed by Yuke’s Co. Ltd. and published by Eidos for PlayStation 2.

Josh Calloway is an employee of Wisdom Incorporated, a company involved in gene therapy, genome-based drugs, cloning, and genetic modification. After discovering that the corporation is developing the powerful close-range LEGACY weapon for military purposes, Josh attempts to escape with his girlfriend and co-worker, Eliel Evergrand.

The escape fails, and Eliel’s soul is placed inside the core of the E.O.E. weapon, which Josh carries in his modified arm. He must confront Wisdom’s plans while seeking to restore Eliel to human form.
