Epidemic!

Epidemic! puts you in charge of the Global Disease Control Center as a meteor shower threatens to spread a deadly disease across Earth.

Each turn represents one day, with a limited number of actions available. Monitor meteoroids on radar, destroy them with missiles before impact, and deploy emergency measures across fourteen regions to slow the contagion. Updated disease statistics help track the crisis, while countermeasures include vaccination, irradiation, protective body suits, genetic engineering, firestorms, and nuclear weapons.

The campaign lasts 15 to 30 turns depending on the selected skill level. Released in 1983 for Apple II, Atari 8-bit, and DOS, the game was developed by Rapid Fire and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc.
