A remote droid tackles radioactive waste and active defence systems across eight levels.

About this game

In Equinox, the resource-rich world of Sury Ani 7 has become contaminated, forcing the operation to continue remotely. You control a Dedicated Disposal Droid sent into the complex while its active defence droids attempt to damage anything entering the surface.

The objective is to shut down the security system and remove the radioactive material by sending it down the disposal chute on each of the eight levels. The waste must be handled before it explodes, while limited fuel must be located within the complex. Retro-thrust consumes fuel particularly quickly, and finding the appropriate pass is required to advance to the next level.

Developed by Raffaele Cecco and published by Mikro-Gen, Equinox was released in 1985 for Amstrad CPC, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
