About this game

Eric and the Floaters is a single-screen arcade game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Sinclair Research Ltd.

After choosing between keyboard and joystick controls, your goal is to eliminate every orange or magenta floater roaming the maze. You have an infinite supply of bombs, but can place only one at a time. Each bomb explodes after a few seconds, so you must drop it near the enemies and quickly move around a corner to avoid the blast.

Explosions destroy floaters and can also remove certain wall sections, gradually opening the maze into a more open play area. Additional floaters appear on later levels, increasing the difficulty.
