About this game

Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters is an arcade action game set on Planet X, a synthetic industrial planetoid occupied by the hostile Reptilons. Players must rescue Dr. Sarah Bellum while freeing human hostages forced to build a robot army.

The game uses an isometric perspective and supports one or two players. Players shoot through maze-like levels, find and activate levers to operate escalators, collect gems to strengthen the ray gun, and break into food lockers for health. Each level concludes with an isometric auto-scrolling spaceship sequence requiring left-and-right navigation through obstacles.

The game was developed by Atari Games and released for arcade systems, with versions for several home computer platforms including Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, and ZX Spectrum.
