Etoile Princesse

In the floating-island realm of Fail Land, Princess Rilule sets out to defeat an evil witch’s monsters and rescue imprisoned female magicians.

Étoile Princesse is an overhead action game with shooter-style projectile combat. Rilule fires stars in a straight line, while other playable magicians use different attacks, including area-based abilities. As stages are completed, more magicians join the party.

Up to three characters can be brought into hostile areas, with the player switching between them during play. Each character also has a powerful magic attack that consumes MP and must be charged before use. Health- and magic-restoring items appear in chests or are dropped by enemies, and each mostly linear stage concludes with a boss battle.
