Exciting Soccer: Konami Cup

Exciting Soccer: Konami Cup is an arcade-style soccer game developed and published by Konami in 1988. Players choose one of six pre-made teams and compete in the Konami Cup across ten matches, facing the other teams twice.

Gameplay

Each team has distinct ratings for Kick, Running, Dribble, Defence, and Luck. After each match, extra points can be spent to improve one or more of these values. Finishing at the top of the league table wins the game.

Alongside Cup Mode, the game includes matches against another human player. Games use an overhead view and action-focused gameplay, omitting rules such as fouls and offside.
