Exolon

Exolon is a run-and-gun platform shooter in which a futuristic soldier battles through flick-screen levels filled with aliens, gun emplacements, homing missiles, tanks, landmines, red pods, and ground-based crushers.

The soldier uses a gun and rocket-propelled grenades, with each weapon suited to different enemies. Partway through each level, a pod offers an upgrade to an armoured exoskeleton with improved weapons and armour. Completing a level without taking the upgrade awards a score bonus.
