About this game

Archmage Khelben summons the Heroes of Waterdeep to investigate disappearances and human remains discovered in the forests near Waterdeep. Their search leads to the towers of Temple Darkmoon, where an unknown evil is at work.

Based on the second edition of AD&D rules, Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon uses point-and-click controls and pseudo-3D maze-like environments. The four-character party can be transferred from the earlier game or created from scratch, with six available classes: Fighter, Ranger, Paladin, Cleric, Mage, and Thief.

Exploration is paired with real-time combat, character movement as a group, new monsters, higher levels, new spells, and multiple puzzles. Compared with its predecessor, the game adds more illustrated NPC encounters and cutscenes.
