About this game

F-14 Tomcat is a 1987 pinball game from Williams Electronics in which you take the role of the Navy pilot known as “Hitman.” Your mission is to destroy General Yagov’s seven planes before confronting Yagov himself.

The table combines fast reflex challenges with score-building objectives. Lock three balls to begin a four-ball multiball, make three safe landings on the Launch Ramp to collect the jackpot, and spell TOMCAT during a Hot Streak to earn the Hot Streak Bonus. The Yagov Kicker can suddenly launch pinballs straight down the flippers, adding another hazard to the action.

F-14 Tomcat is also noted for introducing the ball-save feature known as Flight Insurance. It was released for BBC Microcomputer System, Commodore C64/128/MAX, DOS, and Pinball Arcade.
