About this game

F1 Circus '91 is a Formula 1 simulation racing game released in 1991 for NEC PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine. Without an official license, it uses generic team and driver names.

Races use an overhead view and emphasize car tuning and damage. The returning World Championship mode is joined by several additional options:

  • Free Attack: Practice freely on any course.
  • Training: Race on special courses to learn the game.
  • Watch: Select a course and view a demonstration race.

The managerial Constructors mode from the previous game is not included.
