About this game

F1 Tornado is a side-view, horizontally scrolling shoot-'em-up released in 1990. Players pilot a Tornado across four Middle Eastern levels, destroying enemy fighters, ground installations, and a large military target at the end of each stage.

The joystick controls the aircraft, while the fire button uses the current weapon. Destroyed helicopters can leave weapon icons behind; collecting one and pressing the space bar upgrades the weapon. The display shows the score, remaining lives, and current weapon.
