About this game

Falcon Patrol is a two-way side-scrolling shooter released in 1982. Players fly a jet through a looping area while shooting down waves of attacking aircraft.

A radar display at the bottom of the screen tracks enemy positions, while limited fuel and rockets create an ongoing need to resupply. The jet can land on designated platforms to refuel and replenish ammunition, but it must come to a complete stop directly above a platform before landing, leaving it exposed to attack.

Landing platforms are not permanently safe: enemy bombing or crashing aircraft can destroy them. As play continues, enemy waves become larger and more difficult. The game was developed by Steve Lee and published by Virgin Games.
