About this game

Famicom Grand Prix II: 3D Hot Rally is a Nintendo racing game released for the Family Computer Disk System on April 15, 1988. It follows the Famicom Grand Prix series with a behind-the-car perspective and three extended rally courses featuring varied terrain and multiple routes.

Rally Features

  • Choose between the speedy Kattobi coupe, balanced Yonque truck, and rugged Monster buggy.
  • Reach checkpoints within time limits to preserve or add to the race's time bank.
  • Collect exclamation marks to fill the dash meter and activate a temporary high-speed fifth gear.
  • Select a repair point before each race and use a route that passes it to fix vehicle damage.
  • Too much damage or an empty time bank ends the race.

The game supports the Famicom 3D System glasses for a sense of depth. Players could also submit their best times through Famicom Disk Fax kiosks for a chance to win a Disk-kun stationary set.
