About this game

Famicom Mukashibanashi: Shin Onigashima - Zenpen is a command-driven adventure game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Family Computer Disk System.

Donbe and Hikari, an adopted boy and girl from Nagakushi village, set out to save their elderly adoptive parents after an evil dragon causes humans to become soul-stealing oni. Their journey also leads toward the secret of their origins.

Players advance by selecting commands, including Change Character, which switches control between Donbe and Hikari. Progress is represented through changes in the game's graphics.
