Famicom Tantei Club: Kieta Koukeisha - Kouhen

Famicom Tantei Club: Kieta Koukeisha: Kouhen is a text adventure with a horror movie-like atmosphere. The protagonist awakens near a cliff with no memory and learns that he is an assistant detective investigating the death of Kiku Ayashiro.

Investigation leads to the Ayashiro estate and a village legend claiming that the dead will return to anyone who tries to steal the Ayashiro family’s fortune. As the case develops, the legend may be connected to a series of killings.

Players progress by selecting text commands such as interrogate, examine, and move. The game was released for the Family Computer Disk System on June 14, 1988, and was developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo.
