About this game

Famicom Tantei Club Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo: Zenpen is the second game in the Famicom Tantei Club series, released for the Family Computer Disk System on May 23, 1989.

The game follows two investigations: the murder of a schoolgirl researching her school’s ghost story and an older murder approaching the expiration of its legal limit. Players progress through menu-based commands used to question characters, examine the environment and clues, and review facts, with the results presented through text.

Its scenario was written by Nagihiro Asama from a concept by Yoshio Sakamoto, with music composed by Kenji Yamamoto. Nintendo R&D1 developed the game and Nintendo published it. A Super Famicom Nintendo Power cartridge version was released in 1998 with improved graphics and sound.
