About this game

Family Composer is a music creation simulator developed by Musical Plan Ltd. for the Family Computer Disk System and published by Tokyo Shoseki.

Players can compose music using electronic approximations of keyboards, piano, and organ over several dozen rhythm tracks. A pencil tool allows notes to be written onto a score, with each note playing as it is added. Compositions can be saved to disk for later playback or sharing.

A graphic player mode displays an animated scene featuring birds and ships while tracks are played, and allows the tempo to be edited.
