About this game

Fantasy Zone places Opa-Opa in eight stages filled with bases to destroy. Once every base is eliminated, a stage boss appears; defeating it allows progression. Most stages scroll in either direction and loop, while the final stage features the previous bosses in succession before the final battle.

Opa-Opa attacks with a standard weapon and bombs, and can land to walk along the ground before taking flight again. Defeating enemies, bases, and bosses provides money that can be spent at shops reached through marked balloons. Available upgrades include weapons, bombs, faster engines, and extra lives, with only one engine, weapon, and bomb equipped at a time.

Some weapons are temporary, some bombs have limited uses, and engines remain permanently equipped. Purchases become more expensive over time, and upgrades can be reassigned through the shop or Select balloons. Losing a life removes all equipped upgrades.
