About this game

Fast Lane! The Spice Engineering Challenge is an arcade-oriented racing game based on the C-1 championship. It features nine tracks, including Horama, Le Mans, Suzuka, and Donnington.

Before each race, players complete three qualifying rounds on an empty track. Qualifying performance determines the starting position. A practice mode helps players learn the gears, with an optional automatic transmission.

Car Setup and Racing

Several vehicle settings can be adjusted, including front and rear spoiler angles, tires, and fuel load. The game also includes a detailed damage model. Its courses feature hills that restrict the view ahead, while zooming sprites provide the visual presentation.

Although it offers car adjustments and damage modeling, Fast Lane! plays as an arcade racer rather than a full simulation.
