A football simulation featuring revamped gameplay, team chemistry, and an expanded career mode.
The briefing
FIFA Soccer 06 introduces a new engine with updated controls, enhanced player and ball physics, and more animations. The game removes the previous Off the Ball controls and revises the free-kick interface, while adding Team Chemistry to represent how effectively players perform together.
Its 2005–06 season data covers 26 leagues from 19 countries, 29 real stadiums, more than 10,000 players, and international teams. Returning features include Create a Player and extensive management options.
The 15-year career includes sponsorships, player contracts, and a stronger focus on morale. Poor morale can reduce individual performance, weaken Team Chemistry, and affect contract renewals. Players may ultimately leave on free transfers.
Unlockables, including alternate third kits, are earned through more than 100 scenarios across five difficulty levels rather than the task-based point system used in earlier versions.
