About this game

FIFA Soccer 07 is a football game released on October 3, 2006. Its main update focuses on the game engine while expanding the Manager mode with squad-based player development: active players improve their abilities, creating a choice between relying on veteran stars and promoting youth prospects.

Manager mode also introduces a simplified text view for matches, with the option to jump into the action, and replaces the previous points system with currency that can be displayed in pounds, euros, or dollars. Other modes include Tournaments, with support for custom tournaments, and Challenges.

Completed challenges unlock items in the Fanshop, including teams, a special overhead camera, Adidas balls, stadiums, third kits, and celebrations for created players. Online play adds Interactive Leagues based on real fixtures from the English Premier League, French Ligue 1, German Bundesliga, and Mexican first division. Players represent their chosen teams in head-to-head matches, with weekly results determined by accumulated player votes.
