About this game

Fire Bam is a 1988 action-platform game developed by Live Planning and published by HAL Laboratory for the Family Computer Disk System and Nintendo Famicom Disk System.

As Bam explores a forest, defeated monsters drop fire elements that can be collected and spent in shops on special items and new equipment. Additional weapons, shields, and boots provide customization beyond the starting gear.

The game’s world expands as Bam discovers towers and defeats the bosses within them. Completing a tower opens new territory to the left and right, while also adding buildings and shops to Bam’s home area.
