Firetrack

Firetrack is a vertically scrolling arcade shooter developed by Aardvark Software and programmed by Nick Pelling. Players take the role of Earth's delegate on a mission to destroy eight pirate colonies.

Gameplay

Each level is crossed twice. During the first run, the objective is to destroy the reactor at the end of the level. Once the colony falls into darkness, the player makes a second pass and attempts to destroy as many buildings as possible.

Marked structures can award extra points or, in some cases, an extra life. Contact with an enemy ship or missile results in instant death.
