Fist of the North Star

Fist of the North Star is a side-scrolling action, hack-and-slash, and platform game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed by Shouei System, it is based on the Fist of the North Star manga and adapts the Gento Kōken story arc from the second anime series, Hokuto no Ken 2.

The game was originally released in Japan in 1987 and later received a North American release in 1989. It is the only one of four Fist of the North Star games released for the Family Computer in Japan to receive an overseas version.
