Flink

Flink is a fantasy jump-'n-run game set in the world of Imagica. As Flink, a wizard’s apprentice, players must rescue four captured elders and defeat the evil wizard Wicked Wainwright.

Alongside traditional platforming, Flink features a spell-creation system. By combining three collected ingredients while the game is paused, players can cast spells with effects such as attacking enemies, creating a shield, shrinking, growing plants to access new areas, and opening locked treasure chests. Spell recipes are found on scrolls provided by rescued elders or hidden in levels.

Magic energy is used to cast spells and can be restored by collecting magic bottles or defeating enemies. When Flink is hit, his magic energy is lost and can be recovered for a limited time; taking another hit without magic energy costs a life.
