Protect the fish in this single-screen arcade shooter

The briefing

About this game

Flying Feathers is a side-view, single-screen shooter in which you play a warden protecting fish from descending eagles. From your boat at the bottom of the screen, aim a crosshair and shoot the birds before they reach the water.

You begin with five fish. If an eagle grabs one, you can still shoot the bird and make it drop its catch. After a set period, a duck and her family swim across the screen to award an extra fish. The game ends when all the fish have been taken, and eight skill levels are available at the start.
