A vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up from 1987
The briefing
Foundations Waste is a vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up developed by Microwish Software and published by Exocet Software. Released in 1987, it was available for Amiga and Atari ST systems.
Players can collect extra weapons and abilities, including a side shot, shields, a controllable drone, and seeking missiles. Some power-ups are fakes that invert the ship's controls or slow it down.
Extra weapons are lost when the player's ship is destroyed or when entering a new level. Enemy forces include tanks, ships, flying vessels, and later space ships. Each level features an end-of-level guard that can be destroyed for extra points or passed if the player's firepower is too low.
