A motion-captured 3D baseball game featuring multiple camera angles, detailed stadia, and six game modes.
The briefing
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball is a baseball game licensed by player Frank Thomas and among the early titles to use motion-captured 3D graphics. It features multiple camera angles and 28 3D-rendered stadia, each with visible differences.
Six game modes support everything from single exhibition matches to full seasons with playoffs. Home Run Derby provides a separate points-based challenge focused on hitting the ball out of the park.
Players can select pitchers and batters based on statistics and form, while pitching controls include fastballs, curveballs, pace, and height adjustments. Fielding can be handled by the computer or managed manually, with options to adjust infield and outfield positioning.
