A first-person point-and-click horror adventure inspired by Frankenstein
The briefing
Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster is a first-person interactive movie that places you in the role of Frankenstein’s monster. After being falsely accused of murder and executed, you are brought back to life by Dr. Frankenstein, played by Tim Curry.
Awakening in the doctor’s laboratory, you must uncover what happened to you and determine Frankenstein’s role in your resurrection. Exploration, clue gathering, and puzzle solving drive the investigation, with in-game events triggered by examining Frankenstein’s notes and other evidence.
The game combines live-action actors with pre-rendered backgrounds and was developed by Amazing Media, Inc. and published by Interplay. It was released in 1995 for Mac, PC (Microsoft Windows), and Sega Saturn.
