About this game

Freekscape: Escape From Hell is a 2.5D puzzle platformer starring Freek, a horned demon who is abandoned in hell after refusing to torture souls. Assigned housekeeping duties by his master Beel, Freek discovers the key to the treasure room, steals a trident, and sets out to escape hell and reach heaven.

Levels are completed by reaching their exits and are accessed through a branching world map. Freek's trident lets him skewer minions, carry them, or use them as a pogo stick. Other creatures can cross gaps, act as trampolines, create safe routes through lava, or form bridges. Freek can summon creatures through portals or attract their attention by whistling, while his own portals function as checkpoints. Some stages also require collecting peppers to unlock a pepper portal.

Developed by Kidguru Studios and published by Creat Studios Inc, the game was released on April 8, 2010, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, and Sony PSP Minis.
