The briefing

About this game

Fruit Machine Simulator is a casino simulator for 1–4 players, starting each game with £1.50 in coins. Stakes are fixed at 10p, and players select coins to insert before spinning the reels.

Inspired by fruit machines of the 1980s without recreating a specific machine, it includes Cash Box, Nudge Box, Skill Climb, Winning Streak, Cash Gamble, Hold, and Mega-hold features. Winning spins can be collected or gambled.

Bonus Features

  • Cash Bash: Matching symbols light letters in the feature name, potentially unlocking bonus games.
  • Skill Climb: Stop flashing lights across columns representing 10p, 20p, 50p, and £1 coins. Reaching the top advances to higher-value columns.
  • Cash Box: Awards a cash amount accumulated during play.
  • Nudge Box: Awards nudges accumulated during play.
  • Winning Streak: Provides a series of spins guaranteed to win something.

Reels may also be held or nudged during play, with holds occasionally available after a win. The game was released for Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Commodore C64/128/MAX, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
