A side-scrolling arcade adventure across floating islands

The briefing

About this game

Fungus lives peacefully on a floating island in space, but his only food—mushrooms—grows on nearby islands. Unfortunately, those islands are guarded by creatures that do not want their mushrooms taken.

Viewed from the side at an elevated angle, the game scrolls constantly from left to right. Fungus cannot stop running, so you guide him up and down the screen, jump over gaps, avoid obstacles and creatures, and collect as many mushrooms as possible. Touching a hazard or falling from an island costs one of four lives and returns Fungus to the start of the island.

Features

  • Seven selectable islands
  • Three difficulty levels
  • Four creature choices to avoid
  • Selectable island colors
