About this game

G.I. Joe: Cobra Strike is an action arcade shooter for the Atari 2600, developed and published by Parker Brothers in 1983. It was the first video game to use the G.I. Joe license.

In single-player mode, defend the training camp at the bottom of the screen with two laser cannons and a barrier. Destroy the giant Cobra-operated robot snake by hitting it eight times while avoiding its venom and laser beams.

The game also includes two-player cooperative play, with both players working to destroy the robot, and a competitive mode in which one player controls the Cobra robot and the other controls the training camp. The U.K. version was released under the name Action Man: Action Force.
