Galactic Storm

Galactic Storm is a Taito arcade shooter released in 1991. In this chase-view space combat game, players pilot a spaceship along predetermined courses with limited maneuvering room.

The ship is protected by a shield that can absorb multiple hits and is equipped with a standard shot alongside a more powerful special weapon available in limited supply. Each stage features waves of enemies, including giant robots, before concluding with a stronger boss encounter.

Defeating a boss partially restores the ship’s shields as the flight continues through varied settings, including open space, tree-covered planetscapes, and narrow tunnels.
