Galactic Warrior Rats

Galactic Warrior Rats is a top-down, multi-directional shooter for Amiga in which Einstein, Newton, and Darwin defend the polluted planet Smeaton Five.

The mutant Galactic Warrior Rats must destroy the planet’s robotic defences and stop a computer primed to explode the world. Enemies can release credits after being defeated, with a short wait required for them to appear.

The game gives you three lives, represented by the three rats. Losing a life also removes all upgrades, while each rat’s protective biosphere can withstand several shots. Before entering the action, you can spend 500 initial credits on weapons and upgrades. Movement includes inertia, making precise stops more difficult.
