Turn-based mech strategy on Nintendo’s 16-bit hardware

The briefing

About this game

Galaxy Robo is a 1994 strategy RPG from Copya System and publisher Imagineer. Inspired by titles such as Fire Emblem and Famicom Wars, it combines turn-based tactical warfare with a mech-focused story and visual style.

Players direct their units across the battlefield, using cursor-based controls to move mechs and attack opposing forces. When units collide or come within projectile range, combat shifts to a side-on view that depicts the damage dealt to both sides.

The game was released for Nintendo’s 16-bit platforms, including the Super Famicom and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and supports the Super Nintendo Mouse for unit control. Its original release was a Japanese exclusive, with an English fan translation available later.
