A Garfield adventure across three wintry dream challenges

About this game

Garfield: Winter's Tail is a game based on Jim Davis' Garfield comic strip. After falling asleep beside Jon's open refrigerator, Garfield dreams of the Swiss Alps, the world's largest lasagna factory, and a mythical chicken that lays chocolate eggs.

The game features three mini-games that can be played in any order: skiing toward the lasagna factory, maintaining the chocolate supply for mechanical chickens, and ice-skating across a frozen lake while following the chicken's chocolate footprints. Odie appears throughout the game, stealing food and interfering with the factory lift controls and frozen lake.

Although the challenges may be attempted in any order, starting with the skiing level is required to see the ending. The game was released in 1989 for Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum. It was developed by Softek International Ltd. and published by The Edge. The Atari ST version does not work on Atari STe computers.
